“Are the heads listening or talking? Are they judges or councillors? Is the central figure afraid or engrossed?
These questions raised by DIALOGUE aim to explore the complexity of our relationship to the past and our own history. The multiple ways of interpreting the interactions between the figures suggests that our past is not simply static. Rather, we in the present are constantly engaging in a dialogue within ourselves about how our changing present self takes and needs different things from the past at different times of our life.”
